Applications that keep crashing are very common issues that even a powerful smartphone like your new Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus may encounter them from time to time. But the thing is that they’re pretty minor and are very easy to fix. Among the apps that many have been complaining about is Spotify.
I’m a huge fan of Spotify, but I recently encountered a really annoying—and apparently common—bug. No matter what playlist, artist, or album I was listening to (whether on my iPhone, Mac, or Sonos), Spotify would pause every song or two, and I’d have to tap Play for it to continue. If Origin won’t launch and keeps crashing on your Mac, try the Reset Origin tool for a quick and easy solution for a lot of crashing issues. Here’s how to do it: Download the Reset Origin tool. Spotify didn't sell or repair PCs so I see why they are not responding. You could have easily have reached the conclusion that Windows is crashing your PCs. The clues are not here to point to.

Fix Galaxy S9 Plus with Spotify app that keeps crashing
The following solutions may help you fix the problem with Spotify app that keeps on crashing.
First solution: Reboot your Galaxy S9+
If this is the first time that your phone is having issues with Spotify, don’t do anything yet. Instead just try rebooting your S9 Plus if you haven’t done so. After the reboot and the problem continues, then try doing the Forced Reboot procedure which refreshes your phone’s memory better than the normal reboot.
- Press and hold the volume down and power keys at the same time for 10 seconds or until your phone reboots.
Once the phone becomes active, try to open Spotify to know if it still crashes. If it does, move on to the next solution.
Second solution: Reset Spotify
By reset I mean clearing the app’s cache and data. This will bring the device back to its default settings or configuration. If this problem is limited to the app, then this solution is more than enough to fix it.
- From a Home screen, touch and swipe up or down to display all apps.
- From a Home screen, navigate: Settings > Apps.
- Tap App Manager.
- Locate then tap Spotify.
- Tap Storage.
- Tap CLEAR CACHE.
- Tap Cached data.
- Tap CLEAR.

Bear in mind that all your settings and preferences alone with downloaded music tracks will be deleted if you did this. You may have to log into your account again after this and redownload tracks you previously downloaded. If the problem still occurs after this, then try the next solution.
Third solution: Uninstall Spotify and reinstall it
Problems like this can also be due to a compatibility issue between the app and the firmware and more often we would suggest updating the app. In this case, however, it’s better to just uninstall Spotify so that all its associations with other apps and services will be removed. After which, just reinstall the app and try using it.
